Greetings....Central / South America

As is custom in the Latin American countries the proper hello and goodbye when greeting each other is a kiss on the cheek or an "air kiss". In the time that SRC and I have been traveling to these countries I have become quite adept to this practice. I have, on occasion been called "ice princess" so this may come to a shock to some of my friends and family. People can change!

So, don't be surprised if, the next time I see you, I take your arm (just below the shoulder), lean in and give an "air kiss". Prior to my travels I would have backed away from such a gesture (ice princess). So as not to be rude to the custom of Latin Americans I have adapted...I know, don't be shocked!
